Coupons and Kids was created by me, Margarette Burnette.  I’m a mom and writer who specializes in personal finance and parenting articles.  My work has appeared in Good Housekeeping, Parenting, Essence, Yahoo! Finance, MSN Money, BlackEnterprise.com, Bankrate.com, and many more publications.  I’ve also written and edited a children’s book, which has been my most fun project to date!

When I research personal finance articles, I interview several experts on topics such as saving money and spending wisely.   My notebook is literally bulging with their suggestions, but I only use a fraction of them for my articles.  That’s why I created Coupons and Kids.  This site is a way to share information with coupon-clipping parents.  Our goal is to help moms and dads find great deals for their families.
